“Would the new Sheldon in any way be an improvement over the old Sheldon?” — Leonard Hofstadter, The Big Bang Theory
Have you met people who think “that’s it, this is as good as it gets”? Some people don’t believe in continual conversion and forfeit the healing power of Jesus in their lives. Unlike us, Jesus knew no sin, didn’t sin with his heart, mouth or actions (see Midday Prayers below). Jesus chose to bear your sins in His body and offers you healing by taking your sin, sickness and dis-ease as if it were his own. Receiving this evolutionary/revolutionary work, moment by moment (not just once) regularly transforms the old you into the new creation your world needs you to be… it sends you in right directions for your own benefit and the sake of other souls. Think about some next steps you might take in order to live in the evolutionary, transforming power of God. Opening yourself to whatever it takes to live your best life is of great profit for your soul. Receiving God’s power for your life… that’s the Big Bang Theory.
