The Welcoming Prayer is a wonderful prayer for interior freedom. Letting go of all of our capabilities and in-capabilities… all of our helpfulness and helplessness. A letting go of our false selves so that our true selves, made in the image and likeness of God, may live. Letting go of our agenda so that the miraculous power of God may come through us. Welcome the Holy Spirit… practice hospitality to the One who gives you life. You were born for more and that “more” is the presence and power of God moving in you and through you.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.
I welcome everything that comes to me today
because I know it’s for my healing.
I welcome all thoughts, feelings, emotions, persons,
situations, and conditions that will teach me the truth about God and His Ways.
I let go of my desire for power and control.
Welcome Holy Spirit
I let go of my desire for affection, esteem,
approval and pleasure.
Welcome Holy Spirit
I let go of my desire for survival and security.
Welcome Holy Spirit
I let go of my desire to change any situation,
condition, person or myself.
I open to the love and presence of God and
God’s action within. Amen.
