For it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16
We read a quote this week by Greg Laurie that has defined the Unstoppable Life; “God’s end game, God’s big plan for you, is not to merely make you happy; it is also to make you holy. God’s desire is that you become like Jesus”.
Wow, that explains a lot! In order to live a life that is unstoppable we must change our preference from happy to holy. Holy… what does that mean? The Scripture defines holiness as being set apart for a specific purpose. When we realize the purpose for why we were created by God, allow Him to mark out our path, desire to please Him and live out His purpose… holiness happens! We are no longer looking for ways to please or satisfy our own purposes and a deep and abiding peace begins to guide our days… all our days. Successful days are set apart to God and deeply difficult days are set apart to God. When our lives are set apart (holy) our hearts are yielded, our steps become sure and our way is made. Life becomes unstoppable! Controlling, demanding, manipulating or complaining about our life stops the flow of Holy purpose. When we cooperate with God, the one Who made us and knows why He made us we get happy about being holy! We live the unstoppable life all of the days of our journey home.
Join us this week to learn more about the Unstoppable Life…
