Two Trees in the Garden

As we continue through Creation wisdom Scott prayed, “God, thank you for setting our boundaries in pleasant places, you have given us a good inheritance (Psalm 16:5-6.) We are beyond grateful for all you provide. Your provision is enough. Keep us from reaching outside of the good you have given to us.”

Can you imagine if we didn’t reach beyond the good we are given? It might save our relationships, finances and very lives from ruin!  It is the False-self that reaches for, clings to, grasps more than is graced. It is the True-self that is centered, grateful, able to enjoy what is present.

Let’s do more of that. Stay in your garden, my friends, eat what is good!
