We’re still praying through the Creation Scriptures today (Genesis 1-2 NRSV) and pausing to be in awe of God’s ideas…
WOW! God creates humankind in God’s image and gives us this brilliant, gorgeous, generous, beyond- belief creation with the responsibility to cultivate, care for and enjoy it all! So, how are we doing with that? How are men and women working with and caring for each other and this breath-taking planet?
Maybe before we go macro, let’s consider how we’re caring for our one-and-only magnificent life. Nelson Mandela said, “Human Beings can’t bear the burden of their own inherent greatness.” So when we awaken to being made in God’s-own-image and are willing to bear the burden of our own inherent greatness, we can take care of each other and God’s world, God’s way.
