Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
We are discussing the word “unstoppable”. We will be joining with thousands of churches for the 3rd summer to pray “One Prayer”. This year’s prayer is titled “Unstoppable”. We think this prayer is right on time! Let us ask you, where have you stopped moving forward? …with God? …relationships? …career? …calling? How can you come back to a place of unstoppable courage? Let’s look at God’s Word…
Be honest about how much courage you have: [The boy’s father said,] “… If you can do anything, do it. Have a heart and help us!” Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, “Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!” Mark 9:22-24 (MSG)
Listen to God and follow: “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me….” John 10:27 (NIV)
Hang with friends who will silence your doubts: “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:31)
Be faithful and hold fast: “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised)….” Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)
The Kingdom of God is only built by people who are “unstoppable”! They learn to deal with their doubts, build and stay in relationships with their faith friends, listen, follow and hold fast without wavering! Need help with this? Join us Sunday for “Unstoppable Generation”!
Praying for us all to be Unstoppable,
Scott and Clare
