Desire too strong or too weak?

Isaiah 25 ( Midday Prayers below) is a description of the faithfulness of God in all circumstances. It beckons us to consider how God values each one of us. God is so taken with us that He wants to bless us in everyway – beyond our wildest imaginings.

Through His Son Jesus He wants to walk through life with us, guiding, teaching, protecting (blessing us). We all have desires/plans for our life but how do they compare to what God has planned for us? C.S. Lewis put it this way; “Indeed if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak.”

Give up– your limited expectations of life.

Give in- to believing and experiencing (receiving) the abundant life of God’s promises.

Give out- to others the richness God supplies and watch it increase in your own life.
