Lectionary reading from the Blue Book: Read full passage here Romans 12
“So, we who are many, are one body in Christ,
and individually we are members one of another.” Romans 12:5
We don’t think much about it, but the big toe is a BIG deal. . The big toe’s function is to provide leverage to the foot when it pushes off the ground during walking, running, or pedaling. In conjunction with the little toe, it also assists in maintaining the body’s balance while standing. And the three toes in the middle are all a part of the gig.
Sometimes we wonder how much we matter in the big scheme of life, do you? What is your God-given purpose in the Body of Christ? You are wanted and vital to bring God’s love to the earth.
Make the connection. Stay connected with the body. The body needs you.
