Good Friday-No Greater Love

Art by Teresa Pizzimenti

Day of Days. Good Friday.

Jesus will take all our sin and all our shame, if we will allow Him.

Say a deep yes to the work of the Cross. It is here that you will find the One you have been looking for and the meaning of your own precious life.

Greater love has no man than this than to lay down His life for a friend.”  Jesus has defined your value.  Jesus has redefined friendship, then, now and always.

We will never be the same because of this great love.  Now we are learning to love you in return Lord Jesus Christ.

You are invited to join us for the contemplative prayer service The Road  as we walk together through the Stations of the Cross today at 12:15 and 6:30pm. We will take time to remember the great grace and love of God.

If you are unable to join us we offer The Road booklet and audio for your prayers at home. Let this day bring you close to the passion of Christ for you.

God’s grace be with you,

Scott and Clare

Praying Your Vote

God of all Kingdoms and Kings, You hear our prayers.  We pray for all voters, that we would know Your laws and vote in ways that promote Your Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy.

We pray for those who will be voted into positions of public trust, especially our president and congressional leaders, that they may serve justice and promote the dignity and freedom of all people.

We pray that we will not speak evil of the person that we voted against and will take care not to judge those that are convicted to vote differently.

We humble ourselves, seek your face and pray that you would forgive our sins and heal our land. God, we pray that your Kingdom would come and Your will would be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We place our country in your hands.
